Hi, I’m Jessica.
I work across culture, education, heritage, and the built environment, helping organizations recognize opportunities, strengthen what already exists, and build new initiatives that can thrive. Over the course of my career, I have held senior leadership roles in higher education and museums and worked extensively in cultural heritage, historic property and neighborhood revitalization, and urban planning.
My expertise lies at the intersection of public programming, strategic marketing, content strategy, creative direction, business development, and operations. I have set the vision and objectives for major portfolios of public, educational, and community programs; built the teams and systems needed to deliver them; and developed initiatives and campaigns that expanded audiences, generated revenue, improved performance, and brought ideas and places to life.
I am based in New York City and spent seven years living and working in the Czech Republic—five in South Bohemia and two in Prague—where I began the two personal projects featured on this site.
Genius Loci and Nation Creation draw on an archive of photographs I took during those years. Both reflect my longstanding curiosity about place, memory, identity, and how we make sense of the world around us. They are also rooted in my deep connection to the Czech Republic, a place that continues to inspire me and feels like home.
Thanks for your interest.
